Renting an exotic car in Metro Detroit is not the same as picking up an Altima from Enterprise. The cars cost more, the insurance is stricter, and most rental companies operate differently than what you're used to. How Much Does It Actually Cost?
Daily rates vary by vehicle. The cars in our current fleet range from $395/day to $595/day:
- Mustang GT — $395/day. 515 HP V8, 4 seats, classic American muscle. Most affordable entry into the fleet.
- C7 Corvette Grand Sport — $495/day. 460 HP, Torch Red, modified exhaust, Z06-spec wide body. Recently added to the fleet.
- C8 Corvette — $595/day. 496 HP mid-engine supercar. The most-requested car in our fleet.
Beyond the daily rate, expect a refundable security deposit of $550–$1,000 depending on the vehicle and rental length. The deposit is held on your card at the time of rental and released after the vehicle is returned in the same condition — typically within 24–72 hours.
Multi-day rentals are discounted. The per-day rate drops on weekend rentals and drops further on extended rentals. Call us for a specific quote on your dates.
The Insurance Requirement Most People Don't Know About
This is where most first-time exotic renters get tripped up. We require full coverage personal auto insurance — comprehensive and collision — that extends to non-owned and rental vehicles. Liability-only does not qualify. Newly issued policies do not qualify either. We verify your declarations page directly with your insurer before the rental is confirmed.
You have a few options. Add comprehensive and collision to your existing policy temporarily — most insurers can do this same-day. Use a credit card that includes rental coverage (some Amex Platinum and Chase Sapphire cards do, but they almost never cover exotics — verify before assuming). Or look into third-party rental insurance like Bonzah or RentalCover, which can be purchased for a single rental.
This requirement exists because we operate on direct accountability — no platform middleman, no inflated incident estimates, no surprise charges. The trade-off is that we need confirmed coverage on every rental.
Age Requirements
Most exotic rental companies set their minimum at 25 with no exceptions. We don't operate that way. We rent to drivers 18 and up on a case-by-case basis depending on driving record, insurance status, and the occasion. Younger drivers don't get a blanket no — but you should call ahead to confirm before assuming you'll qualify.
What gets approved: a clean driving record, a clear occasion (wedding, graduation, birthday, business trip), valid insurance, and willingness to put down the deposit. What doesn't get approved: recent at-fault accidents, DUI history, or unverifiable insurance.

For airport pickups (DTW), we coordinate timing with your flight. Most renters opt for hotel delivery instead — easier logistics, less hurried.

What Actually Happens at Pickup
Every rental starts with the same process — and we do it the same way every time:
- Driver's license check. We verify your name and license against the rental agreement.
- Insurance verification. Already done before pickup, but we confirm policy is still active.
- Signed rental agreement. Reviewed and signed before keys are handed over.
- Damage walkaround on video. Documented condition before the rental — protects both of us.
- Vehicle walkthrough. Important features, fuel requirements (premium only on the performance cars), and any modifications you should know about.
The whole process takes 15–20 minutes. You drive away knowing the car, knowing the agreement, and knowing exactly who to call if anything comes up.
